1964 PORSCHE 356C COUPE – LHD – 46,404 MILES SHOWING This lovely example of a late Porsche 356 presents very well in White with Black leatherette trim. Porsche Cars Australia confirm that this car was delivered new in Brussels, Belgium and built June 1964. From the various badges which adorn the engine lid, it has been all over Europe and eventually ended up in South Africa. The South African owner was eventually moved to Australia and bought the 356C with him. The present owner bought the car from the South African owner about 10 years ago and has had it re trimmed inside and completed regular servicing. Powered by a 1600cc engine, it developed when new 70Kw and 119Nm of power and torque, delivering this to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox. 1948 MG TC ROADSTER – 2,767 MILES SHOWING Probably one of the most popular MG models ever made, this model is really just a post war example of the earlier TA and TB pre war models, which had to be suspended during the war years as the Abingdon MG factory was turned over to the Ministry of Defence to assist in the war production of weapons and materials. The US servicemen based in the UK during the war just fell in love with MG Midget design and driving down English country lanes, so when the conflict was over and they were sent home, they pined for this car. Lovingly known by many past and present owners as “bone shakers”, they are such fun cars to drive because they deserve all your attention and give you back so many reasons to smile. As a direct result of US demand, the TC was developed by MG and export sales sky rocketed. Later models, particularly the MGA and MGB directly were riding on the initial success of the TC’s US market success. Presented here is a much loved and restored TC, now sporting a new colour green and also wearing the sometimes preferred 16′” wire wheels. Powered originally by a 1.25Lt 4 cylinder engine, it produced (54.4bhp) 40.6Kw of power, which was distributed to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox. Performance figures suggest 0-100kph in 21.3 secs and a top speed not much further at around 130kph. Current performance figures are not available, but almost certainly would be slightly improved on the original figures above. A previous owner has supplied the following information on the current status of this car:- “MGTC 1948 Chassis #4840 Marvellous condition and a superb road car. Comfortable and a pleasure to drive. Fully rebuilt with the following inventory front to rear:- 1. Front suspension, including new springs, bushes and brakes 2. Radiator re-core 3. Special water pump manufactured by Race Metal UK, for competition vehicles 4. Engine 1300cc fully rebuilt and balanced. Smooth and powerful. -Compressions 170psi+ per cylinder and runs perfectly on 91 octane. 5. VW steering box conversion by John Bowles WA. Huge improvement over original steering. 6. Gearbox fully reconditioned 7. High ratio differential 4.55 : 1 8. New fuel tank by UK specialist 9. Electronic S.U. fuel pump 10. Five 16” wire wheels 11. Fully rebuilt body tub. New timbers and panels as required. 12. All new interior trim and leather seats (Apple Green) by UK specialist – including new seat springing and bases as per original, all manufactured in the UK. 13. New duck hood with zip out rear window + side screens manufactured by the same company as above In other words, a ground up restoration which has attempted to improve the vehicle wherever possible to produce high quality build standards with much improved performance and driver satisfaction, together with a higher degree of comfort and “Safety Fast” Total mileage 2767 and very carefully run in. Car originally purchased by M J Menzel on 1/9/1948 from Motors Limited Adelaide for 641 pounds. Its registration was SA 148 347 and the engine is XPAG5479. Registered in SA as above until 1967. Further history unknown until 2001 when it was purchased by R O’Malley, needing total restoration It was then sold to the current owner in 2006 in that same condition and an eight year restoration followed. The work was undertaken by MG Car Club mechanics/members from SA, Victoria & Perth and the owner over many hundreds of hours. Most of the parts were directly imported from UK specialists and Moss Motors Bradford UK but unfortunately we have very little in the way of receipts. ” The above words from a previous owner are very understandable when you consider the old “bone shaker” tag that the TC has worn for years. Here you have a pre war style MG, but tastefully improved so you can enjoy the car on our roads and traffic conditions of today. 1968 FORD F100 UTE – AUTO – 25,133 MILES SHOWING * AVAILABLE TO INSPECT BY APPOINTMENT ONLY * An Australian delivered F100 Ute that we understand interestingly, started life in the NSW Police Force and fitted out as a “Paddy Wagon” This vehicle has been subject to a major bare metal restoration and we have not only a large folder of receipts for the monies spent, but a USB stick with many photos showing the re-build. Now presenting in Turquoise Blue (CB679765) with Black interior trim. Originally fitted with 240ci (3.9Lt) 6 cylinder engine, it has now been fitted with a 351ci (5.7Lt) Ford V8 engine. The current owner’s word’s best describe the whole journey:- “This classic 1968 Ford F100 was Australian delivered and according to SVO number indicates it was acquired by the NSW police force originally as a paddy wagon. Following its service with the police force it was purchased at auction to a farmer in Victoria. When I bought the truck in 2017, I deliberated for a long time as to whether I should do a full restoration or a weathered patina but eventually when I finally made the decision and had the time, a full resto was the way to go. In 2022 I engaged bodies by Isaac who was very passionate about body restoration and then proceeded painstakingly the process of preparing the body work for paint. The objective was to do a full ground up rebuild as per the photos provided which included A pillars, B pillars, cab corners, inner fenders, cab etc. Keeping the body as original as possible was paramount and only cut out rust areas as minimally as possible. Any cut outs were replaced with hand formed galv plates. Prior to welding, these areas were primed with weld proof primer and all internal panels and seals were raptor coated before being sealed to ensure the prevention of any further rust. As the body work continued, the chassis was taken to Gerace Mustangs to perform the rebuild and fit out of all new brake lines, fuel lines and complete restoration of chassis, brakes and diff.􀆯. This included 2 pack paint for the chassis, new brakes & discs and all new bushings. The diff was rebuilt with new LSD fitted. All with the mindset of ensuring a smooth ride and improved handling and comfort. Whilst at Gerace Mustangs the truck was also fitted with a 351ci Cleveland V8 with a C6 auto trans which was bought from Tony Gerace. To further enhance the drive ability of the truck we engaged Retro Rack to build a complete rack and pinion steering and mouths. At this stage we were into our third year of restoration, and this is when the paint process commenced. I engaged Lori Cirelli from Cirrelli Automotive Refinishing because of his exceptional attention to detail. The amount of photo logging provided to ensure that his workmanship could be traced at every stage was reflected in the pride he takes in his work. We chose the colour Ford Frost Turquoise Blue (CB679765) which truly makes the truck a standout. The interior work was completed by Carafano Motor Trimmers and the craftmanship was excellent. The seat is original and was reupholstered which incorporated a weave pattern to pay homage to the Ford GT of 70’s. All body panels that were fitted back are original to the truck. The truck has blue tooth radio, seat warmers and air conditioning which were added for modern day comfort. The restoration was finished in November 2024 and photos tell the story of the amount of time and e􀆯ort that went into this high quality restoration. For anyone who is looking to own a piece of American/Australian Automotive history, this iconic 1968 F100 is a perfect blend of classic design and modern performance.” We have no performance figures to match the current engine fitment, however I’m sure the NSW police would have enjoyed the increased performance.
