1960 PORSCHE 356B T5 1600 SUPER COUPE – MANUAL – 86,351 MILES SHOWING Delivered new by Hamilton’s of Melbourne (Australian Porsche agents at the time). Recently serviced by Porsche specialists in Adelaide, Rennen Motorsport of Marleston on the 20th of November 2025 at 86,351 miles. Porsche Cars Australia have provided the following information about this delivery when new:- Australian (Hamilton’s) delivered Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 109828 Model year 1959 Exterior colour Ruby Red Green tinted windscreen Hub caps with Porsche crest This lovely example now presents in Silver with complimentary Red interior trim. Sadly presented to us as part of a deceased estate, however from the large file of invoices and books given to us, the late owner was very fastidious and this car was obviously his pride and joy. Amongst the paperwork we hold is evidence that this is not the original engine, but a 1600 engine which was bought up to Super 75 spec and possibly above with a hot camshaft, new distributor and enlarged and re-jetted Zenith carburettors. This work was done including the paint change around 2001-2002. The following explains the subtle differences between the 1600 and 1600 Super models:- The main difference between a Porsche 356B 1600 and a 356B 1600 Super is engine performance and components: the 1600 Super had significantly more horsepower (around 75 bhp vs. 60 bhp for the standard 1600) due to higher compression, upgraded carburettors (like larger Solex carbs), and other internal enhancements like stronger rods and different cylinder heads, making it a much sportier, higher-performance version of the standard model. Visually, they shared the B-series updates, but the Super often featured distinctive hubcaps and sometimes specific exhausts or suspension options. Key Differences Explained • Engine Power: The standard 1600 produced about 60 horsepower, while the 1600 Super offered around 75 horsepower, a substantial increase for the era. • Internal Components: The Super engine featured a higher compression ratio, larger carburettors (like Solex 40 PII-4), and often used stronger connecting rods and different valve gear (like those shared with the Super 90) for improved breathing and durability. • Carburetion: The standard 1600 used single carburettors, whereas the Super models used larger, more efficient carbs, sometimes twin setups in higher trims like the Super 90, which used dual Solex carburettors. • Visual Cues (Minor): While both shared the 356B’s updated body (higher bumpers, larger indicators), Supers often had domed hubcaps with the Porsche crest, a feature usually absent on the base 1600. • Handling Options: While standard, the 1600 Super could be optioned with improved suspension components like softer torsion bars or rear compensating springs, enhancing its sporty nature. In essence, the “Super” designation denoted a factory-tuned, higher-performance engine package, making it a significant step up from the entry-level 1600 model. Powered originally by a 1582cc (1.6Lt) 4 cylinder Super engine, it produced 55.65Kw(75bhp) and 117Nm (86Ft/Lb) delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox. Performance figures at the time of release suggested 0-100kph in 13.7 secs and a top speed near 175kph. Modifications done some 23 years ago suggest the above figures might have been improved upon. If you have been looking for an Australian delivered 356 in very usable and fine condition, please consider this example on our state of the art showroom floor in Adelaide. Eligible for Historic registration in most jurisdictions, this equates to minimal on road costs. The current SA plates RRR356 may be available if slod in South Australia. 1968 FORD F100 UTE – AUTO – 25,133 MILES SHOWING An Australian delivered F100 Ute that we understand interestingly, started life in the NSW Police Force and fitted out as a “Paddy Wagon” This vehicle has been subject to a major bare metal restoration and we have not only a large folder of receipts for the monies spent, but a USB stick with many photos showing the re-build. Now presenting in Turquoise Blue (CB679765) with Black interior trim. Originally fitted with 240ci (3.9Lt) 6 cylinder engine, it has now been fitted with a 351ci (5.7Lt) Ford V8 engine. The current owner’s word’s best describe the whole journey:- “This classic 1968 Ford F100 was Australian delivered and according to SVO number indicates it was acquired by the NSW police force originally as a paddy wagon. Following its service with the police force it was purchased at auction to a farmer in Victoria. When I bought the truck in 2017, I deliberated for a long time as to whether I should do a full restoration or a weathered patina but eventually when I finally made the decision and had the time, a full resto was the way to go. In 2022 I engaged bodies by Isaac who was very passionate about body restoration and then proceeded painstakingly the process of preparing the body work for paint. The objective was to do a full ground up rebuild as per the photos provided which included A pillars, B pillars, cab corners, inner fenders, cab etc. Keeping the body as original as possible was paramount and only cut out rust areas as minimally as possible. Any cut outs were replaced with hand formed galv plates. Prior to welding, these areas were primed with weld proof primer and all internal panels and seals were raptor coated before being sealed to ensure the prevention of any further rust. As the body work continued, the chassis was taken to Gerace Mustangs to perform the rebuild and fit out of all new brake lines, fuel lines and complete restoration of chassis, brakes and diff.. This included 2 pack paint for the chassis, new brakes & discs and all new bushings. The diff was rebuilt with new LSD fitted. All with the mindset of ensuring a smooth ride and improved handling and comfort. Whilst at Gerace Mustangs the truck was also fitted with a 351ci Cleveland V8 with a C6 auto trans which was bought from Tony Gerace. To further enhance the drive ability of the truck we engaged Retro Rack to build a complete rack and pinion steering and mouths. At this stage we were into our third year of restoration, and this is when the paint process commenced. I engaged Lori Cirelli from Cirrelli Automotive Refinishing because of his exceptional attention to detail. The amount of photo logging provided to ensure that his workmanship could be traced at every stage was reflected in the pride he takes in his work. We chose the colour Ford Frost Turquoise Blue (CB679765) which truly makes the truck a standout. The interior work was completed by Carafano Motor Trimmers and the craftmanship was excellent. The seat is original and was reupholstered which incorporated a weave pattern to pay homage to the Ford GT of 70’s. All body panels that were fitted back are original to the truck. The truck has blue tooth radio, seat warmers and air conditioning which were added for modern day comfort. The restoration was finished in November 2024 and photos tell the story of the amount of time and eort that went into this high quality restoration. For anyone who is looking to own a piece of American/Australian Automotive history, this iconic 1968 F100 is a perfect blend of classic design and modern performance.” We have no performance figures to match the current engine fitment, however I’m sure the NSW police would have enjoyed the increased performance. A superb presentation which would make an ideal classic vehicle for car show and shines, classic events and cruises or a special vehicle to advertise your business. If you were planning an F100 restoration, save yourself countless hours of time and expense and consider this beautifully finished example. Eligible for Historic registration in most jurisdictions, this equates to minimal on road costs. Available to inspect on our state of the art showroom floor in Adelaide. We can arrange transport door to door Australia wide.

Amazingly, we hold those plates too, but the car is now registered in South Australia with number RLC710, which may be available if the car is sold in South Australia. The service book shows some early servicing by the delivering dealer. The current owner has these words to update us on the car’s more recent service attention:- “Last oil change was April this year, wouldn’t have travelled more than 250kms… my dad (who is a mechanic) does it every 6 months regardless of kms, In the last 12 months I’ve had the break master cylinder refurbished by power breaks Gilles Plains, front end rebuild, tail shaft uni joints replaced, brand new carpet installed for a refreshment, The underneath of carpet has dynamat installed for a more quieter ride. The tyres were replaced in February of 2022 to make sure they are safe and roadworthy.” We are also informed that the car had a bare metal re-spray in Acrylic lacquer and new trim back in 1996. The Holden Historical Services Production Report # 0241103143T tells us all about the car as delivered new. The engine has been changed to a 186ci in the past, but is a period correct Holden unit. 1961 FORD FALCON PURSUIT COUPE 144 – AUTO – LHD – 9,737 MILES SHOWING Presenting in White with glamourous Red interior trim. This vehicle built in January 1961 appears to have spent a lot of it’s life in Southern California, we hold some documentation supporting it’s existence. Imported to Australia, we hold a copy of the Vehicle Import Approval issued by the Federal Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development, #150648/4 dated the 11th of December 2015. This vehicle has undergone a major restoration since being in South Australia and we have a large folder of photos and paperwork to support it’s current condition. The top speed of a 1961 Ford Falcon Pursuit with the 144 ci (2.4Lt) engine is approximately 145kph, though it was more about fuel efficiency than high performance. The “Pursuit” designation referred to the base model with a specific engine, not a high-performance version of the car. Engine: The 144 cubic inch (2.4L) inline six-cylinder engine was designed for economy, not speed. Performance: While official top speed figures for this specific engine in this model year are not widely published, sources indicate that the standard Falcon was not built for high speeds. This classic Ford Falcon Coupe is a first class presentation and certainly a credit to it’s current owner. Winner of an All Ford Day Award SA in 2018. It would make an ideal classic cruiser for car club events, show and shines or just a cruise to your favourite destination in style. Eligible for Historic registration in most jurisdictions, this equates to minimal on road costs. The SA plates 61FORD may be available if the car is sold to another South Australian owner.
