The current South Australian owner has provided us with a copy of the Automotive Engineer’s report dated the 6th of June 2024, to detail all of the modifications. This report was provided to Service SA to allow the current registration in SA. Transmission * The subject vehicle’s transmission has been replaced with a Mazda 13B, which is connected subjects original cross member. The clutch connected is a heavy duty clutch. An after market tail shaft has been fitted to suit the fitted transmission and rear axle. The full report from the automotive engineer is available to any interested party. Performance of the car in it’s current condition is not clear, but a copy of a dyno report suggests a maximum of 298 bhp (215.5Kw), but no on road performance figures are at hand. However when you look at the original specifications of the RX-7 with a 12A rotary engine, this example is producing quite an increase in power and will no doubt out-perform the original car on the road.
