We believe this 308ci engine is period correct and rebuilt as part of the restoration. Powered originally with a 308ci (5.0Lt) V8 engine, it produced when new 161Kw and 398Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox. Performance figures suggest 0-100kph in 7.5 secs and a top speed near 210kph. As far as we can tell, a genuine HX Sandman which has had a lot of money spent on it, to bring it back to this condition.
