Description
1989 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER HJ61RG GXL WAGON – MANUAL – ONE OWNER Delivered new to it’s owner by Marion Toyota of Oaklands Park Adelaide on the 26th of May 1990. Presenting in White with Grey fabric interior trim. Considering the age of this vehicle and it’s mileage, the condition of the interior is an absolute credit to the owner. We hold the original hand book confirming the above details and some of the early service attention. Also held are many receipts for work, service attention and parts supplied. Also held is a copy of the 4WD Off-Road Action magazine # 4 with a 6 page article all about this vehicle and the owner’s long experience with previous 4WD’s and all his exploits in this vehicle. It is very well set up for all road conditions and has improvements from standard both mechanically and suspension wise to make it viable for all driving conditions. Fitted with 15″ alloy wheels with Bridgestone Dueller A/T tyres. Interior wise, it is all luxury with electric windows and mirrors/central locking and the owner has also upgraded the 4 speaker sound system. The owner has fitted two radios, a Codan 8525 SSB HF and a Uniden UHF. The massive stainless steel bull supports the two aerials and also holds the twin Bosch 125w spotlights. When there is trouble ahead, the owner has fitted an 8000lb Thomas power take-off winch and then at the rear, a Hayman Reece towing system and an electric towing brake. This Land Cruiser also comes with two comprehensive workshop manuals which have obviously been very handy for the owner with ongoing maintenance. All round with everything this owner has done, it is very well set up for all on and off road conditions. Powered by a 4.0 Litre 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine, it produced when new 100Kw and 315Nm of power and torque, delivered to an AWD system via a 5 speed manual gearbox. Known more for it’s high torque performance and low end power, it was capable of a top speed near 150kph. If you are planning a large excursion around Australia on and off road, this vehicle would make a great companion to enjoy the conditions. Because of it’s age, it is eligible for Historic registration in most jurisdictions, which equates to minimal on road costs. Available to inspect on our state of the art showroom floor in Adelaide. We can arrange transport door to door Australia wide, or you may wish the adventure of driving it home!
